Our Mission

Walking with Young Pink Warriors is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young women aged 20-39 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We understand the significant emotional toll that a cancer diagnosis can have on young women, especially in terms of anxiety and depression. To address this, we want to provide financial assistance with co-payments costs for up to 4 counseling sessions with a provider of their choice. Our goal is to offer these young women the opportunity to prioritize their mental well-being during this challenging time.

The age range of 20-39 encompasses a significant period in an individual's life marked by growth, exploration, and self-discovery. This phase is often characterized by a myriad of transitions and milestones that shape one's identity and future trajectory.

Walking with Young Pink Warriors is committed to standing alongside young women as they confront the complexities of the "redefining" phase post-breast cancer treatments. We acknowledge the considerable financial burden that breast cancer treatments impose on women. It is our firm belief that no woman should ever be faced with the agonizing decision of prioritizing either her mental well-being or her physical health. With our community of support, we strive to help these women rediscover their strength, confidence, and resilience as they move forward with grace and determination.
